Cindy Womble ~ Artist / Designer/ Mom / Wife

Figure skater – Cindy Womble was born and raised north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  He father and her brother still play organized hockey. Her father Chuck, was drafted to play for the Detroit Red Wings about eight months before Cindy was born.  You can imagine that combined with the almost total absence of salary for hockey players in 1962 and constant travel that he was encouraged not to go to the NHL.  Judy and Chuck Leeming raised a beautiful and vibrant young lady.  I’m lucky to have her.

Interior Design student –  Cindy studied Interior Design at Fanshawe College in New London, Ontario.  She graduated in 1984 and began her short career designing and remodeling kitchens for Canac, a now defunct business in Toronto.

Mother – In 1990 Cindy gave birth to her first son, Lewis Rugo.  Six years later, she gave birth to her second son, Sam Rugo.  Both now reside with their father in Clearwater, FL..
